Notice is hereby given to the residents of the Housing Authority of Newberry (NHA), will hold a public hearing on Monday, December 7, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., in the Clara Wertz Community Center located at 3600 Grant Ave, Newberry, SC 29108. The purpose of the hearing will be to review the proposed Annual Plan for Fiscal Year 2027-2028, Five Year Plan for Fiscal Years 2027 - 2031, Public Housing Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy, and Housing Choice Voucher Administrative Plan. 

 

The Five-Year Agency Plan provides details about the Housing Authority's proposed development plans, administration and operational policy changes for 2027-2031.  The Five-Year Capital Fund Action Plan lists the proposed capital improvement plans for 2027-2031.

 

Prior to submission of the Five-Year Agency Plan to HUD, we are soliciting comments and suggestions.
